Hi, I'm a UK based digital product designer and UI/UX fanatic. I love creating human-centric, delightful and meaningful online experiences.
Hello, I’m Neil Thorne, a product designer with over two decades of digital experience who is located in the beautiful South West of the UK. I love to turn complex ideas into intuitive user experiences that leave a lasting impact. 🚀
My expertise spans the entire product development cycle, from strategy, ideation and research to crafting prototypes, designing elegant user interfaces, and delivering polished assets ready for production. I thrive on collaboration with driven, optimistic individuals who share my passion for delivering excellence in every project.
As a designer, I am driven by a relentless curiosity to understand the intricacies of user behaviour and cultivate moments of empathy to build better connections with the products and services they use. By blending user insights with strategic objectives, I strive to craft experiences that are not only engaging and intuitive but also capable of delighting users. 🎨
Here's a selection of projects I'm particularly proud to have contributed to. Each one reflects meaningful progress — whether that's improving user engagement, increasing conversion, streamlining complex journeys, or delivering measurable impact for both users and businesses.
As a digital product designer with over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the unique opportunity to grow alongside the evolution of technology — from the early days of table-based layouts in Dreamweaver to designing complex, user-centric experiences in today’s product ecosystems.
My journey began with front-end development, hand-coding pixel-perfect interfaces with HTML and CSS. While that taught me the value of precision and structure, I quickly discovered my true passion: design that solves real problems for real people.
Over time, I became increasingly drawn to the psychology behind digital interaction — what drives behaviour, how people navigate information, and why certain experiences resonate more than others. That curiosity naturally led me deeper into UX design, where I now focus on creating meaningful, measurable impact through thoughtful, human-centred solutions.

Ask questions, understand the business objectives, define the audiences, identify the problem space and focus on outcomes.
To be successful, less is more. Simplicity and clarity are the two most important ingredients that embellish product design.
Understanding relationships and taking a holistic approach ensures consistency, coherency and scalability across products.
When something looks just right, and combines pixel perfect UI, concise messaging and professional branding, we build trust.
Is not a bolt-on! Design for the diversity of your user base, meet accessibility needs and ensure an inclusive, delightful experience for all.
Test frequently to validate design thinking and to continually listen, learn, iterate and improve.
I've had the privilege of collaborating with top-tier brands and organisations on digital projects of various scopes and scales. With an open-minded approach, I strive to foster deeper connections and craft intuitive, meaningful experiences that resonate between brands and their customers.
